When accidents do occur, there are procedures to assemble employees in predefined mustering areas. The AiRISTA personnel tags provide not only an automated headcount for people in the mustering area, but it can determine which individuals are not in the mustering area. The missing individuals can be located and tracked. Messages can be delivered to their tags to request their status, “press the red button if you need help, press the blue button if you are ok”. The tags can be sewn into clothing or embedded within the hard hat.
