Report Highlights: Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for Indoor Location Services

The Gartner Magic Quadrant is a valuable market research tool for customers considering RTLS vendors. A companion piece is Gartner’s Critical Capabilities reports, which provide in-depth insights into provider products, services, and performance.

This year’s Critical Capabilities for Indoor Location Services scored fifteen indoor location service providers on their capabilities, reviewing hardware and software such as beacons, sensors, Wi-Fi connection, infrastructure, and location engines. Gartner produced nearly thirty pages of beneficial data for businesses seeking location-based digital workplace technology after conducting more than 100 briefings with these vendors, 300 calls with their prospects, and numerous end user surveys with the vendors and their clients.

The 2019 Magic Quadrant for Indoor Location Services named AiRISTA Flow first in Vision as well as Ability to Execute in the Challengers quadrant, and this year’s companion report scored AiRISTA Flow among the top five providers offering static asset location, zonal asset location, real-time asset location, people tracking, and high-value asset tracking. AiRISTA Flow also scored high in Critical Capabilities, which included multiple-technology platform, multiple-vendor management, public Northbound/Southbound APIs, granular location capability, and flexibility of deployment.
